Breakfast Sausage Bars

- 1 roll Pillsbury croissant rolls
- 1 lb. breakfast sausage
- 5 eggs
- salt and pepper

Baked Apples

- 4 medium apples
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup apricot jam or your favorite jam
- 1/4 cup apple juice or water

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 2 cups flour

- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

Cherry Crumb Cake

Melt butter and mix with flour, oats, sugar and pecans
- 1/2 Cup Butter
- 1 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 1/2 Cup self rising flour
- 3/4 Cup quick cooking oats
- 3/4 Cup choped pecans
- 1 Can cherry pie filling
- Ice Cream or Cool Whip if desired
Devil's Food Cake

1. Cream shortening and 1 cup of the sugar till light
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 eggs, separated
- 2 1/2 cup sifted cake flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 cup cold water

Perfect Iced Coffee - Pioneer Lady

In a large container,mix ground coffee with water
- For smaller amount that I make at a time:
- 1 pound ground coffee (good, rich roast)
- 8 quarts cold water
- half and half (healthy splash per serving)
- sweetened condenced milk (2-3 tbsp. per serving)
- Can use skim milk, 2% milk, whole milk, sugar, artificial sweeteners, syrups adapt to your liking
- 8 cups water
- 4 ounces coffee (1/4 lb. coffee)
Tomato Corn Chowder

In the drippings, add onion, the corn, tomatoes and potatoes
- 1 tbsp. bacon drippings
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 can (15-1/4 ounce) whole kernel corn, undrained
- 1 can (15-1/4 ounce) cream style corn
- 2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) diced tomatoes, undraind
- 2 cans (15 ounces) diced potatoes, drained
- If using fresh potatoes, 4 medium peeled and diced.
- salt & pepper to taste.
- May have to add a little water.
