Six Sisters' Stuff: 2-Ingredient Luscious Lemon Cake

In a bowl, combine the cake mix (Mine had two packets inside, just add both) and the pie filling
- Topping:
- 1 (1 lb) package of angel food cake (I used Western Family brand)
- 1 (15.75 oz) can of lemon pie filling (I used Wilderness brand- made by Duncan Hines)
- Fresh Strawberries, if desired
- Whipped Cream
Gluten Free Vegan Vanilla Cake

This gluten free, egg free, dairy free vanilla cake recipe will surprise your guests
- 1 1/2 cups sorghum flour
- 1 1/2 cups tapioca flour
- 1 cup white rice flour
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoon xanthan gum
- 1 cup rice milk (or coconut milk, soy milk, or almond milk)
- 2 cups warm water
- 6 Tablespoon canola oil (or coconut oil)
- 2 Tablespoon pure vanilla
- 2 teaspoons vinegar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
Quick Chicken and Dumplings

1. Heat 1 1/2 cups milk, the peas and carrots, chicken and soup to boiling in 3-quart saucepan, stirring frequently
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup frozen green peas and carrots
- 1 cup cut-up cooked chicken
- 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed creamy chicken mushroom soup
- 1 cup Original Bisquick® mix
- 1/3 cup milk
- Paprika, if desired
Split Pea Soup Freezer Cooking Recipe

In large stock pot combine 3 quarts water with all ingredients
- 3 cups dried yellow split peas
- 2 large onions chopped
- 3 large carrots, peeled and chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp dried marjoram
- 3-4 lobs snoked ham shanks or hocks
Creamy Potatoes and Kielbasa ***

In a slow cooker, combine all ingredients
- 1 28oz package of hash browns
- 1 lb. fully cooked kielbasa, cut into 1/4 inch slices
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup water
- salt & pepper
Freezer Shepherd's Pie

This delicious shepherd's pie is great to make ahead and store in the freezer until you're ready to cook it
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 small onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 1/4 cups beef stock (use chicken stock if using ground turkey instead of beef)
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt & pepper
- 1 pound cooked ground beef or turkey
- 1 1/2 pounds mashed potatoes
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 3 tablespoons cream
- 1 egg, slightly beaten or shredded Cheddar cheese (for cooking day)
Chicken Marsala Freezer Recipe

- 1 - 1 1/2 lbs chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 1 cup flour
- 1 egg, beaten (possibly additional eggs)
- 1 stick butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup Marsala wine
- Salt & pepper
Ambrosia Salad ****

- 1 (16 ounce) carton cottage cheese
- 1 small package orange gelatin (dry)
- 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 small can Mandarin oranges, drained
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 (8-ounce) container whipped topping

- 1 cup flour
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 5 tbsp butter
- water
- Quiche:
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 oz. bacon, cut into small pieces or crumbled
- 1 egg
- 1/4 pint sour cream (5/8 cup)
- salt and pepper to taste
