In a large mixing bowl, measure flour and sugar

- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup water
- 4 Tablespoons cocoa
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Frosting:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 6 Tablespoons milk
- 3 Tablespoon cocoa
- 16 oz. powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- (nuts if desired, I never add them)

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- 10 tablespoons (1 stick + 2 Tbsp) salted butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup granulated white sugar
- 1/2 cup plain 2% or whole Greek yogurt
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups Gold Medal® All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (or Dutch process cocoa powder)
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips, divided
- 1 frozen pound cake, cut into even 3/4-inch slices

- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 1 tsp. instant espresso powder
- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/3 cup white sanding sugar or turbinado sugar
Dark Chocolate Coconut Bites w/ Sea Salt

1. In a bowl combine the shredded coconut, condensed milk and vanilla extract
- 1 14 ounce bag flaked sweetened coconut
- 1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 cup whole almonds, toasted
- 12 ounces dark chocolate, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp. coconut oil
- Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling

Next time you carve pumpkins or cook fresh pumpkins don't throw out the pumpkin seeds
- 1 1/2 cups pumpkin seeds
- 2 teaspoons melted butter (olive oil or vegetable oil work well) or 2 teaspoons melted oil (olive oil or vegetable oil work well)
