- 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate bits
- Icing:
- 3 1/3 ounces unsalted butter
- 3 1/3 ounces dark chocolate, chopped

Chai Chocolate Truffles

- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 7 bags chai tea, such as Tazo
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 9 ounces dark chocolate (70 percent cocoa), chopped
- 2/3 cup Dutch process cocoa powder
- Gold dust, for garnish, optional
Coffee Granita with Baileys and Kahlua

- 2 cups Half-and-Half Cream (or whatever milk)
- 1 Vanilla Bean
- 4 oz Baileys Irish Cream (or Carolyns)
- 4 cups good Strong Coffee

- 4 c. brewed coffee, room temperature
- 1/2 c. coffee-flavored liqueur (Kahlua)
- 4 oz dark rum
- 1/4 c. semisweet chocolate chips, melted
- 2 pt. vanilla ice cream

Sweet Tea Sangria

In a pitcher, combine wine, sweet tea, triple sec, frozen peaches and raspberries and stir until combined
- 1 750-ml. bottle white wine, such as Sauvignon Blanc
- 4 c. sweet tea

Skinny Bell Pepper Nacho Boats
