- For the coating:
- 8 ounces of chicken (I prefer with bones, but you could use boneless too if you like)
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 2-3 fresh green chilies- chopped up
- 1 tablespoon butter (softened or melted)
- 1/2 an onion- chopped up
- 1-2 tablespoons of flour
- 1/4 cup of milk
- 1 slice of fresh bread- to get fresh crumbs, grind this bread slice
- 1/4 tablespoon of red chili flakes
- 1/2 tablespoon of salt or to taste
- 1/4 tablespoon of pepper, or just a pinch
- 1 egg - separate
- 2 tablespoons of egg white for coating
- 1/4 cup of flour
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 2 tablespoons of water mixed with two (2) tablespoons of the egg white that we kept separately
- Mayonnaise (at the time of serving the dish)
