- 8 ears fresh corn or 28 ounce package frozen corn
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 2 tablespoons bacon drippings
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Salt to taste
Potato-Cheese Pancakes

- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon milk
- 1 large potato, grated
- 1/4 cup grated cheese
- 1 Tablespoon flour
- Salt and pepper to taste

- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chopped onion (about 1 small)
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper (about 1/2 medium)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 can (28 oz.) whole peeled tomatoes, undrained
- 1/3 cup tomato paste
- 1 cup pepperoni, coarsely chopped
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced fresh basil leaves, divided
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
- Chopped fresh rosemary/oregano/basil(or dried herbs) to taste
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan

- Confectioners' sugar
- 1 (16-ounce) can pumpkin puree (not pumpkin filling)
- 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 3/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspooon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon each ground nutmeg and ground cloves
- 4 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cups half-and-half
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
