- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

- 1/2 cup sour cream ( approx.)
- 1/4 cup milk ( approx.)
- 1 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 (21 ounce) cans cherry pie filling
- 1/3 cup sliced almonds

- 1 lb ground Italian sausage
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1-2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 small onion, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup marinara pasta sauce (homemade here, minus the meat)
- 1/2 cup shredded Italian cheese blend
- Minced parsley for garnish

- 2 sticks cold butter cut into small pieces
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt ( I used 1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt )
- 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 5 oz of 55% chocolate, cut into chip sized pieces
- 5 oz of 70-72% chocolate, cut into chip sized pieces

- All I had on hand was some Ghirardelli bittersweet chocolate. It worked perfectly but I would love to try this with even darker chocolate. *
