Frosted Banana Bars II

These bars are always a hit at potlucks here in the small rural farming community where my husband and I live
- FROSTING:
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups Granulated Sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 3 medium)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt

- 4 cups Powdered Sugar

Steak Hash & Eggs

- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 1 pound russet potatoes, scrubbed, baked, chopped
- 8 ounces cooked steak or roast beef, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

BBQ Beef for Sandwiches

This week, I decided to make shredded beef again, but I wasn’t in a spicy taco mood
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 3 pound beef roast (chuck roast, top round, or sirloin tip roast are what I typically use)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 6 ounce can of tomato paste
- 1/2 cup dark molasses
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
- 1-2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
Chick-Fil-A Chicken Sandwiches

- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2-3 tablespoons coarsley chopped fresh garlic
- 2 green onions, coarsley chopped
Barbecue Chicken Packets

- 4 sheets (12x18-inches each) Reynolds Wrap Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (1 to 1 1/4 lb.)
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 package (10 oz.) frozen whole kernel corn, OR
- 1 can (15 1/4 oz.) whole kernel corn, drained
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
