Yes, there are many ways to make them, many names that they have been called, but THESE RIGHT HERE are it
- WHOOPIE PIE SHELLS:
- 4 cups sifted flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 cup baking cocoa
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup hot water
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cups shortening
- 1 cup sour milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon real vanilla extract
- .......................................
- WHOOPIE PIE FILLING:
- 6 Tablespoons marshmallow fluff
- 4 Tablespoons vanilla extract (this is not a typo)
- 4 Tablespoons flour
- 4 Tablespoons milk
- 4 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 1/2 cups shortening
Basic Home Fries

I just love home fries and this is a great basic recipe for a delicious breakfast! Yum! I love these with ketchup
- Optional Toppings:
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 lbs potatoes, cut into small cubes, about 5-6 cups (1/4-1/2 inch)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (to taste)
- 1 1/2-2 cups onions, chopped small
- 1 teaspoon dried basil (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
- 1 cup diced bell pepper (I love red, but any color will do)
- 1-2 tablespoon garlic, chopped
- Fresh ground black pepper

- Sour cream
- Minced scallion (or chives)
- Salsa
- Hot pepper sauce
- Ketchup

- 3 1/2-4 pounds chicken pieces
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons raspberry or cider vinegar
- 2/3 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons fine dry bread crumbs
- 2 teaspoons ground cayenne pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup vegetable oil

Chicken Fajita Style Marinade

"Search the web for a fajita marinade, after combining a few recipes, this is what I came up with
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice (used 1/2 lemon)
- 1 teaspoon chicken marinade (Lea & Perrins Marinade for Chicken)
- 3 garlic cloves ( minced)
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon cilantro ( chopped)
Elaine's Crockpot Lasagna

Today I’m making that crock pot lasagna and I remembered that you wanted the recipe
- Meat Sauce:
- 12 ounces uncooked lasagna noodles
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 1 onion chopped
- 3 large cloves of minced garlic it.
- Oregano, basil and parsley, to taste.
- 1/2 cup red port wine
- 1-6 oz. Can of Tomato Paste (Hunt's)
- 1-15 oz. Can of Tomato Sauce
- 1-15 oz. Can of diced tomatoes
- Filling:
- 8 oz. Ricotta Cheese
- 2 eggs beaten
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup Parmesan or Asiago cheese
- Salt to taste
- Topping:
- 2 cups Mozzarella cheese
Easy Baked Beans

I like to use Bush's Original Baked Beans but simple pork and beans work well too
- 1 28-ounce can baked beans
- 1/4 cup Ketcup
- 1 Tbsp Molasses
- 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 2 Tbsp Bacon Drippings
- 1 Tablespoon Minced Onion
- 3 Drops Hot Pepper Sauce
Dry Rubbed BBQ Chicken
