- 1 cup shortening
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 cups oats
- 2 cups medium coconut

- 1 ham bone with meat
- 8 cups water
- 2 cups dry split peas
- 1 cup chopped onion
- ½ cup chopped celery
- 1 ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper

- ½ cup shortening
- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- ¼ tsp vanilla
- 1 cup sifted flour

- 2 ½ cups oatmeal

Preheat Oven to 325. Spray 2 loaf pans
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup oil
- 2 cups zucchini, finely grated
- 2 eggs
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 4 tablespoons cocoa powder ( Optional if you want to make it chocolate)

- Amish Friendship Bread Starter
- 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup milk
- In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in water. Let stand 10 minutes.
- In a 2-quart glass, plastic or ceramic container, combine 1 cup flour and 1 cup sugar. Mix thoroughly or flour will lump when milk is added.
- Slowly stir in 1 cup milk and dissolved yeast mixture.
- Cover loosely and let stand until bubbly. Consider this day 1 of the 10 day cycle.
- Leave loosely covered at room temperature.
Easy Cheese Biscuits

- 2 cups flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 4 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 ½ cups grated cheese
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 cup skim milk

- 1 tsp salt

- 1 cup oil
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 8 oz crushed pineapple
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¾ tsp nutmeg
- 1 cup raisins
Plum Freezer Jam – Original Pectin

- 3-1/2 lb (1.6 kg) plums
- 1 1/4 cups (300 ml) water, divided
- 1/4 cup (50 ml) lemon juice
- 7 cups (1750 ml) granulated sugar
- 1 pkg (57 g) BERNARDIN® Original Fruit Pectin
