- 2 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour, plus additional
- all-purpose flour, for work surface (12 1/2 ounces)
- 1 teaspoon table salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 16 tablespoons unsalted butter, cold, cut into 1/2-inch cubes and frozen for 10 minutes
- 3 tablespoons sour cream
- 1/3 cup ice water (or more if needed)
- Apple Filling
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar, plus 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 teaspoon table salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest, grated
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 7 tart apples, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices
- 7 sweet apples, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices
- 1 egg white, beaten lightly

Combine orange, water, dates, and whole prunes in insert pot of pressure cooker
- 1 orange, peeled and chopped
- 1 about 1 cup water
- 1 1/4 cups pitted dates
- 1 1/4 cups pitted whole prunes
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 2/3 cup dried cranberries
- 2/3 cup dried apricots, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups currants
- 2/3 cup (additional) pitted prunes, chopped
- 1/2 cup potato, peeled and grated
- 1/2 cup carrot, peeled and grated
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon clove
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 tablespoons coconut flour
- 1 cup flour of choice (I used 1/3 cup sorghum, 1/3 cup brown rice, 1/3 cup arrowroot)

1. Melt and cool bittersweet chocolate

- 1/4 c cocoa, unsweetened
- 1 1/2 Tbsp instant espresso
- 1/2 c all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 4 Tbsp butter, softened
- 2/3 c brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp milk
- 3/4 c confectioners' sugar
Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Sprinkle the roast all over with 2 1/2 teaspoons salt and 1 1/2 teaspoons pepper
- One 4-pound beef chuck roast
