Beef Bourguignon - Crock Pot

Step One Combine flour, salt and pepper, and meat in a bowl and toss
- 2 Pounds Stew meat
- 1/3 Cup All purpose flour
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
- 1 Bag of baby carrots
- 1 Bag of frozen pearl onions
- 8 Ounces Whole baby portabella mushrooms
- 3 Teaspoons Garlic, minced
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 Tablespoon Tomato paste (mix with liquids prior to adding)
- 10.5 oz Can Beef consommé
- 3/4 Cup Red wine
- 1 Tablespoon Herbs du Provence or could use combination of thyme/rosemary
- Sprinkle of pepper
Succulent Braised Pork

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F
- 2 pounds pork shoulder, cut into 6 large chunks
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 carrot, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, roughly chopped
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 1/2 cups beef stock or broth
- 1 bunch parsley stems, tied with string
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 cup water
Cauliflower Gratin

Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil
- 1 large head cauliflower, broken up into bite-size florets (approximately 8 cups)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 cups good quality white Vermont cheddar cheese (approximately 7 3/4 ounces), grated

Sesame Peanut Noodles

Whisk together all of the dressing ingredients in a bowl or jug
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic infused oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce
- 1/3 cup smooth peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 4 ounces/1 1/2 cups mange-tout (snow peas)
- 2 cups bean sprouts, rinsed
- 1 red pepper, seeded and cut into small strips
- 2 scallions, finely sliced
- 1 1/4 pounds cooked egg noodles
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 4 tablespoons freshly chopped coriander leaves or 1/4 cup freshly chopped cilantro leaves

- 1 lb thick cut back bacon or canadian style bacon
- 1 to 2 lbs good quality pork sausages
- 1 ham stock cube or chicken stock cube
