- 5 tablespoons dried minced onions
- 7 teaspoons parsley flakes
- 4 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Mix together and store in an air tight container.
- For dressing: Mix 2 tablespoons dry mix with 1 cup mayonnaise and 1 cup buttermilk or sour cream.
- For dip: Mix 2 tablespoons dry mix with 2 cups sour cream.
- Mix up a few hours before serving, so the flavors all blend.
brownies - Low Fat Black Bean Brownies

Preheat oven to 350F. Line an 8x8 square pan with parchment paper
- 3/4 cup dates, pitted
- 1 can black beans, pitted
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup raw sugar (or white or brown)
- 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- Optional: additional 1/2 cup chocolate chips to mix in

- 15-ounce can chickpeas, drained and rinsed well

- 2 cups sucanat (or 1 cup granulated and 1 cup light brown sugar)

- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole-wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats (I like thick cut)
- 1 cup (unsweetened or lightly sweetened) dried cranberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup crystallized ginger, minced

Preheat oven to 350. Mix all the dry ingredients in one bowl
- 1 1/2 cup gluten free oat flour
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1/2 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup Nutiva coconut oil melted
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground vanilla bean or vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 1 egg (I used a flax egg replacer)
- 1/2 dark chocolate bar roughly chopped (cacao nibs would work well too)

- 1 1/2 tablespoons active dry yeast
- 3 egg whites

- 1/4 cup olive oil

- 1/2 cup brown rice flour
- 1/2 cup potato starch
- 2 teaspoons xanthan gum

chicken wings - Bourbon Maple Glazed Chicken Wings

1 Make the bourbon maple glaze: Melt butter in a medium saucepan on medium heat
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp grated onion (use small hole grater)
- 1/2 cup bourbon whisky
- 3/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 Tbsp tomato paste
- 2-inch sprig fresh rosemary (or 1 teaspoon dry)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Mix dry ingredients together in a large bowl
- 400 g oats
- 30 g dessicated coconut
- 30 sesame seeds (other small or ground seeds can be used)
- 3 tbs cocoa powder
- 1 tbs ground ginger (optional)
- 150 g isolated soy protein powder
- 3 tbs tahini
- 3 tbs smooth peanut butter (use all PB instead of part tahini if you prefer)
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 tbs vanilla essence
- 2 tbs agave syrup
- 1/2 tsp pure stevia powder
- Approx 1/4 cup soy milk or other non-dairy milk (just enough to hold the mixture together well)
