Grease a baking sheet. Whisk together egg, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, lemon juice...
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®)
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons seafood seasoning, such as Old Bay™
- ground black pepper to taste
- 1 pound fresh lump crabmeat
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1 tablespoon finely diced red pepper
- 2 teaspoons sliced green onion
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1/3 cup almond flour
Thai Green Chicken Curry – Clean Eating – March 2011

Serves: 4 Prep Time: 25 mins Total Time: 55 min
- Ingredients:
- 1 cup brown jasmine rice
- 2 tsp sunflower, safflower or peanut oil (or any other high-heat cooking oil)
- 2 Tbsp Thai Green Curry Paste
- 1 cup low-fat coconut milk
- 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-inch strips
- 1 1/2 cups snap peas
- 1 large carrot, thinly sliced on a diagonal
- 2 kaffir lime leaves, optional
- 2 Tbsp thinly sliced Thai fresh basil leaves
- 2 tsp fish sauce, or more to taste
- 1 tsp Sucanat (or Agave Nectar if you don’t have Sucanat)
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced on a diagonal

- 3 tbsp meringue powder
- 1 lb (about 4 cups) powdered sugar
- 1-2 tsp clear extract flavoring (ex. vanilla extract)
- 1/3 cup warm water, or more as needed
- Food coloring (amounts will vary)

Preheat oven to 450 degrees
- 2 cups buttermilk baking mix (small box Jiffy Mix equals 2 cups)
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions Combine all ingredients except turkey in a large bowl
- One 29-oz. can tomato sauce
- One 15-oz. can chili beans (pinto beans in chili sauce), not drained
- One 15-oz. can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- One 14.5-oz. can diced tomatoes, drained
- 2 bell peppers (different colors), stems removed, seeded, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 cup frozen sliced or chopped carrots
- 1 cup frozen sweet corn kernels
- 1 to 3 canned chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, chopped, sauce reserved
- 2 tsp. chopped garlic
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 lb. raw lean ground turkey
- Optional seasoning: salt
- Optional topping: light sour cream

- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Szechuan Shrimp (sonoma diet)

This is one of my favorite recipes from The Sonoma Diet
- 1 1/4 lbs medium shrimp (fresh or frozen)
- 4 teaspoons reduced sodium soy sauce
- 4 teaspoons fresh ginger (grated) or 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon dry sherry or 1 tablespoon water
- 1 tablespoon oriental chile sauce with garlic
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
- fresh ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoons reduced sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
- 4 teaspoons canola oil or 4 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves (minced, 1 1/2 tsp minced)
- 2 cups fresh mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 medium red bell pepper (cut into 1/2 inch)
- 2 cups fresh pea pods (trimmed)
- 6 cups Chinese cabbage (Napa, shredded)
- 1/4 cup dry roasted peanuts
- 2 tablespoons green onions (sliced)
Stuffed breakfast tomatoes

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- 1 ripe tomato (a big one, not a Roma or the like)
- 1 handful spinach
- 1/4 onion, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1/4 C shredded cheese–I used mozzarella, but go with what you like!

- 1 lb pork shoulder
- 3 TBSP all purpose flour
- 4 tsp oil
- 3 cups coarsely chopped onion
