Stir Fried Cabbage

In skillet, heat butter until bubbly and hot; add celery; cook 1 minute
- 4 teaspoons butter (you can use olive oil instead)
- 2/3 cup chopped celery
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 4 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 dash pepper, to taste
Candy Bar Pie

Preheat oven to 350°F. Place pie crust in a 9” pie plate, crimping as desired
- Ingredients:
- 1 pie crust, from a pack of two or homemade
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup candy bars (I used 8 miniature Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, about 15 mini Rolos, and a handful of M&Ms to make 1 cup)
- Extra candy for the top of the pie
Sugar Cookie Bars

Preheat oven to 375. In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt
- Cookies:
- 2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1-1/2 Tbsp. sour cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- Frosting:
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup half and half
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Pinch of salt
- food coloring (optional)
Raisin Waldorf Salad

Mix all together and put in fridge till ready to use
- 3 Tbsp. cream cheese
- 3 Tbsp. mayo
- 2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
- 1 large unpeeled red apple cut in 3/4" pieces
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- 2 Tbsp. sliced celery
Potato Salad

- 3 lbs. potatoes, cooked, peeled, cubed
- 1 large green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1-2 tsp. onion salt, to taste
- 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- pepper to taste
- 1/3 cup cider vinegar
- 1 cup mayonnaise
Brownie Cupcake with Hershey Bar Icing

Melt chocolate and butter over low heat
- 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
- 1 cup butter
- 1-1/2 cups pecans, roasted and chopped fine
- 1-3/4 cups sugar
- 1 cup plain flour
- 4 extra-large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Oven Baked Tacos!

Sprinkle the cheese on top and bake at 375 for 10 minutes!!!!!!
- Brown your ground beef and drain completely - then add 1 can of refried beans, 1 pack of taco seasoning and about half a can of tomato sauce. Mix together and scoop into soft taco shells, (stand them up in a casserole dish).

Traditional Club Sandwich

Take your first piece of bread, spread it with a good layer of mayo and then top it with some turkey
- Homemade Mayo:
- 6 pieces of sandwich bread, lightly toasted
- 4-5 strips thick bacon, crispy
- 6 ounces roasted turkey, sliced thin
- 1 tomato, sliced thin
- 4 leaves Romaine lettuce
- Mayonnaise, homemade is best
- Salt and pepper
- 1 egg yolk
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup Canola or safflower oil
- 1 teaspoon Sriracha (optional)
