- For the cake layers:
- 2 1/4 c. cake flour
- 1 1/4 and 1/4 cups sugar, divided
- 1 T. baking powder
- 1 t. salt
- 3/4 c. cold water
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 1 t. lemon zest
- 1 t. vanilla extract
- 5 large egg yolks at room temperature
- 8 large egg whites at room temperature
- 1/2 t. cream of tartar
- For the custard:
- 6 large egg yolks
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. half and half
- 3 T. cornstarch
- For the macerated strawberries:
- 3 lb. strawberries
- 2 T. sugar
- For the whipped cream:
- 2 c. chilled heavy cream
- 1 T. sugar
Hot Fudge Pudding Cake

Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, cocoa and sugar
- Ingredients:
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. unsweetened cocoa
- 1 c. sugar or 1/2 cup splenda for baking sugar
- 1/2 about 1/2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. shortening, melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Sauce:
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar or 3/4 cup brown sugar splenda
- 5 Tbsp. Cocoa
- 1 3/4 c. hot brewed coffee

- For topping 1 cup sour cream

- 6-ounce pimento stuffed green olives
- 6 - ounce hot olives
- 2 stalks green onions
- 1 stick butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 12 ounces Monterey Jack cheese, grated
- 4 ounces parmesan cheese grated
- 1 loaf crusty French bread, sliced lengthwise
