These are definitely Great-Grandmother-worthy cookies

  • 1 cup butter, room temperature
  • 2 cups sugar (I used 1 cup granulated sugar and 1 cup light brown sugar)
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (I added this- it was not in the original recipe)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup raisins

  • 1 cup coconut milk & water, use the remainder of the coconut milk then add enough water to equal 1 cup
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 3 tablespoons flour, unbleached or all-purpose
  • 1 cup butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For the topping:
  • 1/2 cup coconut, divided

  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold butter (1 stick) cut into cubes)
