The garden fresh zucchini and tomatoes combined with fresh basil, mozzarella cheese and breaded chicken…oh, my

  • 1 egg
  • 1 T water
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1 large zucchini
  • 1 C Italian Bread Crumbs
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 4 T olive oil
  • 4 tomatoes, sliced (garden fresh is best, or purchase them still on the vine)
  • 2 C shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 1/2 T fresh basil, chopped (there is really nothing quite as fabulous as fresh basil here. If you have to use dried only use 1 teaspoon)

Instructions Sift together flour, salt and cream of tartar

  • 1 Batch of Playdough
  • 1 cup white flour
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • 2 Tablespoons cream of tartar (found in spice aisle)
  • 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 Tablespoon ground cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract OR caramel extract to each batch made. Add more for stronger scent if desired.
