Inside Out Chocolate Chip Cookies

Makes 16 large cookies. Cookies stay fresh and soft in an airtight container up to 7 days
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature*
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar (or light brown sugar)
- 1 large egg, room temperature preferred*
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup + 2 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 Tablespoons milk
- 1 and 1/4 cup white chocolate chips, plus a few more to sprinkle on top
