Applesauce-Raspberry Gelatin Mold

In a large saucepan, bring applesauce and orange juice to a boil
- 3 cups unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 packages (3 ounce each) raspberry gelatin
- 1 1/2 cups lemon-lime soda
Carole Cole's Mandarin Salad

Shake dressing, then refrigerate
- Dressing:
- 1/4 cup almonds
- 1 tablespoon + 1 tsp sugar
- Lettuce
- Spinach or Romaine
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 2 chopped green onions
- 11 oz. can mandarin oranges, drained
- 1/2 tsp. salt, dash of pepper
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 2 Tablespoons vinegar
- 1/4 cup oil
- Dash of red pepper sauce
- 1 Tablespoon snipped parsely
Peaches and Mixed Greens Salad

1. Combine 1/2 cup raspberries, creme de cassis and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat; bring to a simmer
- 2 cups raspberries, divided
- 3 T creme de cassis (black currant=flavored liqueur)
- 1 T sugar
- 2 T minced shallots
- 2 T creme fraiche
- 2 T champagne vinegar
- 2 T honey
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 6 cups mixed salad greens (about 8 oz)
- 2 cups thinly sliced peeled peaches (about 2 large)
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions (about 2 bunches)
- 1/3 cup chopped hazelnuts, toasted.

Tropical Sausage Kabobs

In a small saucepan, combine the cornstarch and mustard until smooth
- 1 T cornstarch
- 3 T Dijon mustard
- 3/4 cup ginger ale
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 pound fully cooked kielbasa or Polish sausage, cut into 1 inch chunks
- 4 medium-firm bananas, cut into 1 inch slices
- 2 fresh pineapples, peeled and cut into 1-inch chunks or 2 cans (20 ounce each) pineapple chunks, drained.
Sassy Slaw

Get this pretty, peppery salad ready 24 to 48 hours in advance
- 2 pounds green cabbage, shredded
- 1 small turnip (about 4 ozs) shredded
- 2 carrots, shredded
- 4 red radishes, chopped
- 2/3 cup finely chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
- 3 tablespoons minced fresh dill
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/8 tsp freshly ground white pepper
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp crushed hot red pepper, to taste
- 1/2 tsp salt

- 1 - 15 ounce can red kidney beans drained
- 1 - 15 ounce can butter beans drained

- 1-16 ounce can B & M baked beans (not drained)
- 1 -21 ounce can Pork and Beans )not drained)
- 1/2 pound bacon (cut up)
- 2 large onions sliced very thin
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms (fresh or canned)
- 3 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
Campbell's Dry Soup Spinach Onion Dip

- In bowl, blend 1 pouch Campbell's Onion Soup and Recipe Mix, 2 cups sour cream and 1 package (10 ounce) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained.
