This is my favorite honey wheat recipe
- Ingredients
- 1 1/8 cups warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 1/2 cups bread flour
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil or butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
Twice-Baked Mashed Potatoes

* Place potatoes in a large saucepan and cover with water
- 2-1/2 * 2-1/2 pounds medium potatoes, peeled
- 1 * 1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
- 1/4 * 1/4 cup milk
- 2 * 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1-1/2 * 1-1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/2 * 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 5 * 5 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 * 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 * 1/8 teaspoon pepper

- 10 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped or as chips
- 10 ounces white chocolate, finely chopped or as chips

Fruity Frozen Yogurt Swirl

1. Melt sour cherry jam or preserves in saucepan over medium heat
- 1 jar (12 oz) sour cherry jam or preserves
- 4 cups softened fat-free vanilla frozen yogurt
- Dark chocolate chips
Slow Cooker Corn Chowder

In a slow cooker place the potatoes, onion, ham, celery, corn, margarine, salt and pepper
- 5 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups diced ham
- 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 (15.25 oz) can whole kernel corn, undrained (I used frozen corn that I cooked in the microwave for a few minutes to thaw)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 2 cubes chicken bouillon
- 1 (12 oz) can non-fat evaporated milk

- 8 roma tomatoes, quartered
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 6-6-1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 3 Tbsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp yeast
- 3/4 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- FROSTING:
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3-1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup baking cocoa
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 cups confectioner's sugar
- 1/3 cup baking cocoa
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1/4 tsp. almond extract
- 3-4 tablespoons milk
