Dough Combine the flour, sugar, and salt in the bowl of a stand mixer
- Cream Cheese Dough
- 17 oz. (3-3/4 cups) bleached all-purpose flour
- 3 Tbs. granulated sugar
- 3/8 tsp. table salt
- 12 oz. (1-1/2 cups) cold unsalted butter
- 12 oz. cold cream cheese (in bricks)
- Brownie Filling
- 2 oz. (1/4 cup) unsalted butter, cut into 5 or 6 pieces
- 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped
- Scant 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp. table salt
- 1 cold large egg
- 1 Tbs. all-purpose flour

- FILLING:
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup HERSHEY®’S Cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1/3 cup plus 1/2 cup sugar, divided
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1/3 cup crushed peppermint candies
- GLAZE:
- 2 tablespoons butter

Breakfast Burritos (Once a Month Cooking)

- 12 eggs, beaten
- 1 lb bulk sausage, cooked (or crumbled links)
- 1/2 cup chunky salsa (your choice of heat)
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 24 flour tortillas (you can also use whole wheat)
- Optional Ingredients
- 1 green pepper, finely diced
- 6 potatoes, shredded and fried until cooked through or 6 hash browns
- jalapeno, slices
- 1 (4 ounce) cans chopped green chilies
- 1 -2 garlic clove, finely minced
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 1 tomato, peeled and chopped
- 2 green onions, sliced with tops

- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted

1.HEAT oven to 350°F. Line 12 muffin cups with paper baking cups or spray with no-stick cooking spray
- Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
- 1 cup Pillsbury BEST® All Purpose Flour
- OR Pillsbury BEST® Unbleached Flour
- 1 cup Pillsbury BEST® Whole Wheat Flour

- 3 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 3/4 c. very hot water
Panda Express Chow Mein

In a small bowl combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger and black pepper
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. fresh ginger, grated
- ground black pepper, to taste
- 2-3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 3 (5.6 oz) packages refrigerated Yaki Soba noodles (found in the produce section of the grocery store.. usually the 3 packages are sold together in one 17oz. pack)
- 2/3 c. chopped celery (chopped diagonally)
- 1 medium-sized onion, thinly sliced
- 2 c. chopped cabbage
Chili Con Carne

I got the base recipe from Rachael Ray- Chili Con Carne
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 rounded tablespoon (a palmful) chili powder
- 1 tablespoon (a palmful) grill seasoning, recommended brand Montreal Grill Seasoning
- 1 tablespoon (a palmful) ground cumin
- 1/2 tablespoon (half a palmful) ground coriander
- 3 cup beef stock
- 1 28-ounce can chunky-style crushed tomatoes
- 1 15-oz can Petite Diced Tomatoes
- 2-3 can chili beans
- Red Pepper Flake (Optional)

- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
- 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
- 1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
- 2 1/2 cups quick-cooking oatmeal
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- Brown Butter Icing, recipe follows
- Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Brown Butter Icing:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 cups sifted powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 to 4 tablespoons water
- Yield: enough to ice 5 dozen cookies
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
