Schwartz Hashbrowns

Mix all ingredients together and place in baking dish
- 2 lbs frozen hashbrowns
- 1 lg. sour cream
- 2 cups grated cheese
- 2 tins of cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- Chopped onion
- Salt

Peel onions Add salt and water, cover and sit for 24 hours Drain onions Combine ingredients for brine
- 25 lbs of silver skin onions
- Makes 12 1/2 quarts of pickled onions
- 1 litre Malt Vinegar
- 3 liter Pickled Vinegar
- 3 cups Sugar
- 2 Tbsp Pickling Spice (wrapped in coffee filter)
