  • Day 1: Do nothing! Go by the date on the bag. This may be the day you receive the batter.
  • Day 2: Mush the bag
  • Day 3: Mush the bag
  • Day 4: Mush the bag
  • Day 5: Mush the bag
  • Day 6: Add to the bag: 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup of milk.

  • Day 7: Mush the bag
  • Day 8: Mush the bag
  • Day 9: Mush the bag
  • 1 ) Pour entire contents into a non-metal bowl
  • 2 ) Add 1-1/2 cup flour, 1-1/2 cup sugar, 1-1/2 cup milk and mix
  • 3 ) Measure out 4 separate batters of 1 cup each into gallon bags. Keep a starter for yourself and give the others to 3 different friends along with a copy of this recipe. Mark the bags with the dates of day 1, 6 and 10. (Day 1 is the day after you bake)
  • 4 ) Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  • ) To the remaining batter in your non-metal bowl, add:
  • 3 eggs 1 cup oil (or ½ oil and ½ applesauce)
  • ½ cup milk ½ cup sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon ½ tsp vanilla
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt 2 cups flour
  • 1 large box of instant vanilla pudding (5.1 oz)
  • 6 ) 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 7 ) Grease 2 large loafs pans and mix additional ½ cup sugar and 1 ½ tsp cinnamon. Dust the pans with ½ the mixture.
  • 8 ) Pour the batter evenly into the 2 pans and sprinkle with the remaining sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  • 9 ) Bake 45-60 minutes. Cool until bread loosens from the sides of the pan (about 10 minutes). Turn out of pan and serve warm or cold.
