Spicy Asian Pasta Salad

- 1 tbsp. chopped ginger root
- 1 tbsp. chopped garlic
- 1 tsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. rice vinegar
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground white pepper
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil (not olive oil)
- 2 tbsp. sesame oil
- 1 tsp. chili oil (optional)
- 4 cups cooked pasta, thin spaghetti, or capellini (8 oz dry)
- 1/4 cup sliced scallions
- 1/2 cup cilantro leaves
- 1 cup chopped cucumber
- 6 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
Baked Swiss Steak

Sprinkle meat on both side with tenderizer, piercing with a fork Place steak in a 3 quart rectangular baking dish
- Round steak ( 1 1/2 inch thick)
- Meat tenderizer
- Worcestershire sauce
- Ketchup
- Green Pepper rings, 1 whole pepper
- Onion Rings ( 1 large onion)
- 3 bacon slices, uncooked
Italian Potatoes

Boil the potatoes until tender
- 14 or 15 large red potatoes (about 5 lbs.)
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 3 large cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1 heaping tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 scant tbsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup tarragon vinegar
Mashed Potato Casserole

Peel and boil potatoes until tender; drain and put in large bowl of electric mixer
- 8-10 boiling potatoes
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 2 eggs, beaten slightly
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 2 tbsp. minced parsley
- 2 tbsp. minced chives
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 (3 1/2 oz.) can french fried onions
Balsamic Vinaigrette

Combine all the ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid and shake well
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 2 large cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Old Fashioned Sweet-Sour Coleslaw

Place cabbage in a large bowl
- 1 1/2 lbs cabbage, shredded 1/8 in. thick
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup white vinegar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup whipping cream
- salt and black pepper, to taste
Bistro Chicken Pasta Salad

Combine all ingredients except chicken
- 2 cups cooked penne pasta
- 1 cup quartered cherry tomatoes
- 1 pkg. (4 oz.) Athenos Traditional Crumbled Feta Cheese
- 1/2 cup prepared Good Seasons Italian Dressing Mix
- 1/3 cup lightly packed fresh basil, cut into strips
- 1/4 cup chopped red onions
- 1/4 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes (not oil packed)
- 1/2 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, grilled, cut into 1/4 inch thick slices
- Added
- cucumbers, olives, celery
Chili's Honey Mustard Dressing 2

Mix mayonnaise, sour cream and mustard with wire whisk
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup prepared mustard
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Cumin Vinaigrette Salad Dressing

Combine the lemon juice, mustard, garlic, cumin, sugar, salt and pepper in a bowl
- 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp. dijon mustard
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. sugar
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
Chopped Salad To Go

Mix dressings in a 3 cup resealable container
- 1 tbsp. mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp. italian dressing
- 2 cups chopped lettuce ( chop up your own or use pre-packaged lettuce mixes; I like to use spring mix or baby spinach leaves, or a combination of both)
- 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1 tbsp.chopped red onion
- 3 slices smoked turkey breast, chopped ( or substitute smoked chicken breast or ham)
- 1 slice bacon, cooked and crumbled ( or substitute 1/2 to 1 tbsp. bacon bits.
