Aunt Trina's Holiday Pumpkin Crunch

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together pumpkin, evaporatd milk, cinnamon and sugar until well combined
- Frosting:
- 1 (15 oz.) can fresh pumpkin
- 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 2 sticks butter, cut into pieces
- 1 (8oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
- 1 cup Heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Shanghai Noodles with Grilled Rib Eye and Broccoli

Combine the hoisin, orange juice and soy sauce with a whisk and reserve
- 1 lb. Shanghai noodles, egg based
- 4 8 oz. Rib Eye Steaks, 1 inch cut
- 1 lb. broccoli florets
- 1 large white onion, julienned
- 2 tbsp. garllic, minced
- 2 tbsp. fresh ginger , minced
- 1 tsp. dried chili flakes
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 3 oz. butter, unsalted
- 4 tbsp. soy bean oil or vegetable
- 1/4 fresh squeezed orange juice
- Salt and pepper ot taste
Misssouri Cole Slaw

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and 2 tsp
- 1 medium head cabbage, core, shredded, 8 cups
- 2 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp. vinegar
- 1/3 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 medium carrots, shredded
- evaporated milk
Corn Salad

Combine all ingredients. Chill until serving time
- 1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 cup finely chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 cup chopped green onion
- 2 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1/4 cup chopped pimiento
- 3 tbsp. salad oil
- 1/4 cup vinegar
Burnt Applesauce Cake

Pack 2 cups apples. May be frozen ahead of time
- 2 cups peeled, diced Jonathan apples.
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 stick butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup seedless raisins
- 1/2 cup pitted dates, cut up
- 1 cup black walnuts
Swedish Christmas Cookies

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and mix throughly
- 1 cup butter
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. almond extract
Curried Noodles

- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 tbsp. curry powder
- 1 tbsp. salt

- 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
- 1/2 cup chutney, chopped
Mexican Heroes

Saute beef and onion until lightly browned; drain
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 (1 1/4 oz.) package taco seasoning
- 6 hamburger buns, split and toasted
- 12 tomato slices
- 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup shredded lettuce
- 6 tbsp. chopped stuffed olives
- 2 onion slices, separated into rings
Poor Boy Fillets

- 5 slices bacon
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- lemon pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 2-oz. am mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 3 tbsp. finely chopped pimiento-stuffed olives
- 2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
- 2 tbsp.
- green pepper
Beef Stroganoff

Cut beef into narrow strips, 2 inches long and 1/2 inch thick
- 2 lbs. beef tenderloin
- 1 medium onion, sliced thin
- 7 tbsp. butter (must use butter)
- 1/2 lb mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tsp. tomato paste
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- Salt and pepper
- 1 cup sour cream
