- 1 15-ounce can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup trimmed and diagonally sliced asparagus, (1/4 inch thick)

- 1/2 cup lightly packed torn fresh basil leaves

- Frosted Cream Topping:
- 13 oz butternut squash, skin on, deseeded and roughly chopped
- 2 1/4 cup light soft brown sugar
- 4 large free-range or organic eggs
- sea salt
- 2 1/2 cups plain flour, unsifted
- 2 heaped teaspoons baking powder
- a handful of walnuts
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- zest of 1 clementine
- zest of 1 lemon and juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 1/2 cup soured cream
- 2 heaped tablespoons icing sugar, sifted
- optional: lavender flowers or rose petals
- 1 vanilla pod, split lengthways and seeds scraped out

- 3/4 cup unsweetened pomegranate juice
- 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 2 tsp. roasted hazelnut oil or extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp. minced fresh thyme leaves
- 1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 5 oz. spinach leaves (About 2 lightly packed qts.)
- 3/4 cup finely shredded radicchio (from 1 head)
- 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds*

- 1 28-oz can crushed tomatoes
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
- 2 15-oz cans chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 4 cups low-sodium vegetable broth
- 1 1/4 cups (6 oz.) ditalini pasta
