Peanut Brittle & Carmel Crunch Ice Cream Pie

Sea salt and peanuts up the ante in this salty-sweet treat
- Caramel Sauce:
- 3/4 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
- 2 tablespoons (1/4 stick) unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- Pie:
- 9 whole graham crackers
- 1/4 cup (packed) dark brown sugar
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted, hot
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup salted roasted cocktail peanuts
- 3 pints premium vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
- 5 tablespoons natural-style (non-hydrogenated) creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup coarsely chopped peanut brittle
Pecan Bars

- 3/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

- Topping:
- 1 pound unsalted butter
- 1 cup good honey
- 3 cups light brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest

- 1 pound elbow macaroni or cavatappi
- 1 quart milk
- 8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, divided
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 12 ounces Gruyere, grated (4 cups)
- 8 ounces extra-sharp Cheddar, grated (2 cups)
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 3/4 pound fresh tomatoes (4 small)

Salmon Canapes

Combine cheese, juice and Sriracha in a bowl
- 4 ounces goat cheese, at room temperature
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon Sriracha sauce (or more to taste)
- 12 ounces daikon, cut crosswise into 16 slices (1/4 inch thick each)
- 8 ounces thinly sliced smoked salmon (or lox), cut into 16 pieces
