- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 cup applesauce
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1-3/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp ginger

- 1 cup diced ripe tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves (about 4 leaves)
- 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons finely chopped onion
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/8 teaspoon salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 loaf French or Italian bread, sliced diagonally in 1/2 -inch thick slices
- 1/4 c extra virgin olive oil

- Green pepper (in strips)
- Red pepper (in strips)
- Black pepper
- Chicken seasoning
- Salt
- Cube seasoning Made in Nigeria cube seasoning)
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
Turmeric Milk

- 2 dates, pitted
- 1 tablespoon raw honey
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric

1. Toss diced tomatoes with basil, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, olive oil, vinegar, and salt in a medium bowl
- 3 firm Roma tomatoes finely diced (about 1-1/2 cups)
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh basil
- 2 tsp. minced garlic
- 2 tsp. diced marinated sun-dried tomatoes
- 2 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Penne with Roasted Asparagus and Balsamic Butter

Heat the oven to 400°
- 1 pound asparagus
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh-ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 pound penne
- 1/4 pound Earth Balance margarine, cut into pieces

- 368 Grams Water (1 2/3 Cups)
- 56 Grams Olive Oil (4 tablespoons)
- The Dry Goods:
- 75 Grams Cornmeal (1/2 cups)
- 879 Grams Bread Flour (6 1/2 Cups)
- 13 Grams Instant Yeast (1 1/2 tablespoons)
- 24 Grams Salt (4 teaspoons)
- The Extras:
- Additional Olive Oil for lubing and drizzling.
- Kosher salt for sprinkling

- 1 cup (about 8 oz.) sliced mushrooms - fresh or frozen
- 2 - 3 Tbls Earth Balance margarine
- 1 T diced onion
- 1 t minced fresh garlic
- 1/2 tsp thyme sprigs, crushed
- 2 cups light vegetable broth
- 1 cup MimicCream
- 1 Tbls flour
- Fresh ground or cracked black pepper and salt to taste

Heat oven to 350°F. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, ginger, and salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon salt

- 4 tablespoons Earth Balance margarine
- 1 1/4 cups maple syrup
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 3-ounce bag Seneca Granny Smith Apple Chips
