- For topping:
- 1 - 2 tablespoons oil or water
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 1/2 cup celery, diced
- 4-5 large garlic cloves, minced
- 1 ⁄4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 cups chickpeas, reserve 1/3 cup
- 2 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 teaspoon tamari
- 1/2 teaspoon ground sage
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 cup walnuts, toasted
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 - 10 oz. package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed to remove excess water (after removing water, about 1 cup)
