- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 6 ounces cremini mushrooms, stems trimmed and thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped shallot

- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup dry Marsala wine
- 2 cups low-sodium beef broth or stock
- 1/4 cup heavy cream

TO MAKE THE DOUGH: Combine the flour and salt in a mixing bowl
- DOUGH
- 4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups salt
- 1 2/3 cups water
- PAINTING AND VARNISHING
- Dark red acrylic paint mixed with a little blue to produce a cherry shade
- 1 small can clear, glossy varnish or clear shellac
- 1 small paint brush for coloring cherries
- 1 1 " brush for varnishing

Homemade Tahini

- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
Bean Salad

Mix beans in medium bowl. In small bowl, combine sugar, mustard, oil, vinegar and salt

- 1 can yellow beans
- 1 can green beans
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard

- 6 large eggs
- 1 1⁄4 cups granulated sugar (I have used 3/4 to 1 1/4 cups sugar..they come crispier with the larger amount)
- 3 ⁄4 cup salad oil (canola oil)
- 1 3⁄4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons anise flavoring or 3 tablespoons anise oil

Place large skillet over MEDIUM-HIGH heat
- 1 1 99% pound 99% fat-free ground turkey
- 1 1/3 1 1/3 1/3 cup mushrooms, chopped
- 2 2 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 2 2 2 teaspoons cumin
- 2 2 2 teaspoons oregano
- 1-14.5oz 1-14.5oz 1-14.5oz can unsalted stewed tomatoes
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup light ranch salad dressing
- 1 1 1 cup fresh tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup cucumber, peeled, seeded and diced
- 1 1 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
- 6 6 6 cups romaine lettuce
- 1 1 1 cup reduced fat cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 4 80 oz. baked low-fat tortilla chip (about 80 small chips)
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup green onions/scallions, chopped
Greek Pork Chops

1. In a large resealable plastic bag, mix first nine ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
- 4 boneless pork loin chops (3/4 inch thick and 4 ounces each)

- 7 cups water
- 7 cups vinegar
- 7 cups sugar
- 4 teaspoons salt

Indian-Spiced Chicken Drumsticks

- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. grated gingerroot
- 2 tsp. each; ground cumin, curry posder,ground coriander
- 2 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 tsp. grated lemon zest
- 1/2 tsp. each; paprika, salt and freshly ground pepper
- 1/4 tsp each; cayenne pepper and cinnamon
- 12 drumsticks (about 2 1/4 lbs. skin removed if desired)
