  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/3 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup (6 oz.) cold butter, cut into pieces
  • 9 Tbsp (1/2 cp. and 1 T.) milk
  • 1/4 tsp. lemon extract
  • 1 lemon zested and juiced (mince zest)
  • 1 1/2 tsp white vinegar
  • 2 cups confectioners sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp water, or as needed.
