Easter Ham

Another collected recipe. This time, it's from the mother of all homemakers: Martha Stewart
- 1 (7 to 9 lb ham)
- Whole cloves
- 1 pound dark brown sugar
- 1 (12 oz) can of Coca-Cola
- 1 (14 oz) can pineapple rings (drained and juice reserved)
- 1 cup sweet concord grape wine (Manishevitz)
- 10 to 12 maraschino cherries
- Fresh bay leaves, optional
Kimberly's Potato Salad

This is a family favorite, one that is in my family, not from my other half's :)
- 5 lb bag or red potatoes
- 1 medium container of Helmmann's Mayonnaise
- 2-3 carrots, grated
- 1 Tbsp celery seed
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 small onion, diced
- 6 hard boiled eggs (3 sliced, 3 chopped)
Barbecue Kielbasa

Slice the kielbasa into coins
- 1 package Kielbasa
- 1 cup barbecue sauce (you're favorite)
- 1/2 cup beer (again, a favorite)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Beef and Pinto Bean Chili

For a three-alarm chili, leave the seeds and membranes in the jalepenos
- Cooking spray
- 1 pound boneless chuck roast, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 3/4 teaspoon salt, divided
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 4 cups chopped onion (about 2 medium)
- 1/4 cup minced jalepeno peppers (about 2 large)
- 10 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 (12 ounce) bottle beer
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 3 cups fat-free less-sodium beef broth
- 1 (28-ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes, drained and chopped
- 1 (15-ounce) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced radish
- 1 avocado, peeled, pitted and chopped
- 6 tablespoons small cilantro leaves
- 6 tablespoons sour cream
- 6 lime wedges
Kielbasa in Beer-Mustard Sauce

Slice the kielbasa into 1-inch rounds
- 2 lbs Polish sausage
- 1 large onion, quartered and sliced 1/2 inch peices
- 2/3 cup beer (use a favorite)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup prepared mustard (any kind will work, I like dark brown)
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tsp water
Shrimp Roll

- 1 lb cooked shrimp
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 1/2 small red onion, minced
- 2 Tbsp minced chives
- 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp hot sauce (like Sriracha)
- Salt to taste
- 4 hot dog buns (top-loading buns from Pepperidge Farm are best)

- 1 cup (7 oz/220 g) dried chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
- Juice of 2-3 lemons
- 1/2 cup (4 oz/125 g) tahini
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, plus extra for drizzling
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt
- Paprika, minced fresh flat leaf parsley, black pepper, black olives, and lemon wedges for garnish
Blueberry Grunt

In a medium skillet, combine blueberries, water and sugar
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp grated orange zest
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup 2% milk
- Light Whipped Cream (optional)
