  • Basil Pesto:
  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 1 cup freshly grated paremesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto:
  • 1 1/2 cups oil packed sun-dried tomatoes
  • 6 medium sized cloves of garlic, peeled
  • 1 cup packed fresh basil leaves
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • Red, White and Green Pesto Torte:
  • Basil Pesto (above)
  • Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto (above)
  • 1- 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
  • 4 sticks (1 pound) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
