Spiced Pumpkin Bread

- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 16-ounce can solid pack pumpkin
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts (optional)
Self Rising Flour Substitute

Self rising flour is an ingredient in many recipes like cakes, cookies and pastries
- In order to prepare self rising flour substitute, you need all purpose flour, baking powder and salt.
- If the recipe needs one cup of self rising flour, you have to take the same amount of all purpose flour with a dry measure.
- Take all purpose flour in a container and mix the other ingredients.
- For every cup of all purpose flour, you have to add 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
Peanut Butter Fudge Iced Brownies

We’re gonna start with boxed mix made brownies
- 1 box brownie mix, prepared according to package directions*
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 7 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoos shortening
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
Hamburger Steak With Sweet Onion-Mushroom Gravy

- 2 * 2 honey-wheat bread slices
- 1 * 1 pound ground round
- 1 * 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 2 * 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 * 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 * 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1 * 1 (1.2-oz.) envelope brown gravy mix
- 1 * 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 * 1 (8-oz.) package sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 * 1 medium-size sweet onion, halved and thinly sliced
Chicken & Dumplings - Easy

This recipe can be made with leftover baked chicken, bought chicken, or turkey
- 4 cups chopped chicken or turkey
- 1 cup chopped celery
- one 10 1/2 oz. can of cream of chicken soup (I use Campbells soup and broth)
- two 10 1/2 cans of chicken broth
- 3 of the 10 1/2 cans filled with water

Seven Layer Taco Dip

"I am continuously asked to bring this dip for parties and family get-togethers
- 1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
- 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese,
- softened
- 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
- 1 (16 ounce) jar salsa
- 1 large tomato, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 bunch chopped green onions
- 1 small head iceberg lettuce, shredded
- 1 (6 ounce) can sliced black olives,
- drained
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Creamy Chicken and Chile Enchiladas

1. HEAT oven to 400 F. Spray 13 x 9 inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray
- 1 lb uncooked chicken breast strips
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, cut into cubes
- 1 can (4.5 oz) Old El Paso chopped green chilies
- 1 package (10.5 oz) Old El Paso flour tortillas for soft tacos and fajitas (6 inch)
- 2 cans (10 oz each) Old El Paso green chile enchilada sauce
- 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (3 oz)

- 1 * 1 (3 1/2-pound) whole chicken
- 5 * 5 cups water
- 2 * 2 celery stalk tops with leaves
- 1 1/4 * 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 * 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 to 4 * 3 to 4 bacon slices
- 3 * 3 green onions, sliced
- 2 * 2 large celery ribs, chopped
- 1/2 * 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 * 3 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
- 3 * 3 carrots, cooked and diced
- 1 * 1 (8.5-ounce) can sweet green peas, drained

Chicken Fried Steak

To make this recipe you’ll need: Milk, flour, salt and pepper
- 2 pieces cubed steak
- 1 cup all purpose flour (self rising is fine, just omit salt)
- 1/2 tsp salt (more if you like)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (more if you like)
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 3 tablespoons reserved oil from frying steaks
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper, or to taste
- 1 1/2 -2 cups milk
