Grilled Rosemary Chicken Kabobs

Combine 1 1/2 teaspoons of the rosemary, the brown sugar, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes in a small bowl
- 2 teaspoons minced fresh rosemary, divided
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 1/4 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, trimmed of excess fat and cut into 1-inch cubes (or chicken breasts)
- 1/2 cup orange marmalade
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar

- 1/2 cup (8 tablespoons) butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 1/2 cups blueberries, fresh preferred
- 1/4 cup sugar, for topping
- If you use frozen berries, don't crush any of them. Rinse several times in cold water, then pat dry with paper towels before using; this will help prevent the muffins from baking up blue-green.

Pumpkin Soup with Chili Cran-Apple Relish

- Relish:
- 1 T extra olive oil
- 2 T butter
- 1 fresh bay leaf
- 2 ribs celery with greens, finely chopped
- 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 3 T flour
- 1 T poultry seasoning (or 2 tsp ground thyme)
- 2 T hot sauce
- 6 cups chicken stock or broth
- 29 - once can pumpkin puree
- 2 cups heavy cream (1 cup is plenty)
- 1/2 t grated nutmeg
- 1 green apple, chopped
- 1/4 red onion finely chopped
- 2 T lemon juice
- 1/2 cup dried sweetened cranberries, chopped
- 2 t chili powder
- 2 t sugar
- 1 t cinnamon

- 1 pint strawberries

- Day 1: Do nothing
- Days 2-5: Mush bag
- Day 6: Add 1 c each flour, sugar, milk. Mush bag.
