Make the picadillo: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat
- For Serving:
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 large white onion, finely chopped (1 1/2 cups)
- 1 pound ground chuck (80 percent lean)
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic (1 to 2 cloves)
- 2 medium tomatoes, coarsely chopped (2 3/4 cups)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon ancho chili powder or pasilla chili powder (earthy.com)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon coarse salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 teaspoons white vinegar
- 20 corn tortillas
- Shredded iceberg lettuce
- Shredded mild cheddar cheese, preferably mexican blend
- Taco Bell Taco Sauce

- Cookies:
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 12 large marshmallows, cut in half horizontally
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- Frosting:
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

- 1 (2-pound) boneless pork loin, with fat left on
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme or 2 teaspoons minced fresh thyme leaves
- 1 teaspoon dried basil or 2 teaspoons fresh basil leaves
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary or 2 teaspoons minced fresh rosemary
Neiman-Marcus Cookies

Measure oatmeal and blend in a blender to a fine powder
- 2 c butter, softened
- 24 oz (4 c) chocolate chips
- 4 c flour
- 2 c brown sugar
- 2 t baking soda
- 1 t salt
- 2 c sugar
- 8 oz Hershey Bar, grated
- 5 c oatmeal, blended
- 4 eggs
- 2 t baking powder
- 2 t vanilla extract
- 3 c chopped nuts (optional)

- 1 lb chicken, cut into bite sized pieces
- 6 T soy sauce
- 1 t ginger
- 4 bunches baby bok choy
- 2 slices ginger
- 2 T soy sauce
- 1 t sugar
- 1/2 green pepper
- 4 green onions
- 1/4 t salt
- 1/4 c water
- few drops sesame oil
- 1 1/2 T vegetable oil
- pea pods

- Spread
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- dash ground black pepper
- dash paprika

- 1 lb chicken
- 6 T soy sauce
- 1 t ginger
- 3 T vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 c carrot
- 1 1/2 c cauliflower
- 6 oz pea pods
- 4-6 green onions
- 1/2 c cold water
- 2 T corn starch
- 4 oz mushrooms (keep juice)
- 1/2 t sugar
