Beverages Garden Sangria

Combine first 5 ingredients, cover and chill 8 hours
- 1 gal. dry white wine
- 2 c. brandy
- 1 c. orange liqueur
- 4 oranges, sliced
- 1 bunch fresh mint
- 1 liter club soda (or gallon)
- 1 qt. whole strawberries
- 2 lemons, thinly sliced
- 2 limes, thinly sliced
Spaghetti Sauce

Grind onion, carrot and celery
- 1 good sized onion
- 1 med. carrot
- 3 sticks celery
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3 bay leaves
- parsley
- 1 ground chuck
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/3 c. olive oil
- red wine
Chinese Chiken Salad

bean Sprouts onion parsley Snow Peas Celery Sesame seeds Carrots water chestnuts slieed almonds
- 6-8 oz. chicken breast
- Soy Sauce to cover
- 4 Tablespoons butter
- 4 Tablespoons olive oil
- 3 teaspoons soy sauce
- 2 Tablespoons peanut oil
- 2 Tablespoons vinegar
- 1 teaspoon mayonnaise
- 2 heads crisp iceberg lettuce, shredded thin as possible
Spinach, Mushroom & Orange Salad

Toss, drizzle about 1/2 dressign & toss lightly, only enough dressing to coat each leaf
- 1 # tender spinach, washed, trimmed & broken into bite sizes.
- 3/4 # medium mushrooms, washed and sliced very thin
- 1 large navel orange, peeled, sectioned and cubed

Bettis Broccoli Casserole

Place broccoli in 9x13 pan
- 4 (10-ounce) boxes broccoli spears, chopped
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup Miracle Whip
- 1 capful lemon juice
- 1 cup shredded cheddar
Mushrooms

Combine bacon fat, green pepper and onions in a saute pan
- 1 1/2 fresh mushrooms, if small, slice in half, large ones; don't slice too thin because they shrink, wash well.
- 2-3 T. bacon fat
- 1 med. green pepper, chopped
- 2 med. onions, diced
- 1 t. garlic powder (sprinkle 3x's around)
- salt, pepper
- 1/2 t. accent
- 1 t. Hungarian paprika
Laura’s Spinach Salad Dressing

Blend in blender the mayonnaise, oil, vinegar, garlic, salt and pepper
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 c. oil
- 2 T. vinegar
- 1 med. garlic clove
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 4 strips bacon, fried crisp
Snickerdoodle Acorn Cakelets

Position a rack in the lower third of an oven and preheat to 350°F (180°C)
