Paul Bunyan Cookies

2 Large eggs, lightly beaten Directions Heat oven to 350 degrees
- 1 1/4 Cups All purpose flour
- 1 Teaspoon Ground cinnamon
- 3/4 Teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/2 Teaspoon Baking powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Ground ginger
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 Cup vegetable shortening
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Molasses
- 2 Large eggs, lightly beaten
- 12 Ounces Semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 Cups Old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 Cup Raisins
- 1 Cup Pecans or Walnuts, chopped
Potato Pancakes

mix potatoes with eggs, onion, salt, pepper, and nutmeg
- 6 med potatoes, peel and shred to make 3 cups.
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 sm. onion, grated
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/4 t. pepper
- 1 t. ground nutmeg
- 1 T. all purpose flour
- vegetable shortening - 1/4" in skillet
Seafood Sandwiches

Combine all ingredients. Mix well
- 1 c shrimp, lobster, or crab boiled & chopped
- 1/2 c cucumber, chopped and patted dry (optional)
- 3 oz softened cream cheese
- 2 T fresh chives, chopped
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- salt to taste
- dill weed
- 1/2 c mayonnaise
Marinated Mushrooms

Bring all to a boil. Add 2 6-ounce cans of mushroom caps
- 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 small onion, cut in rings
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned pepper
- 2 teaspoons snipped parsley
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 6-ounce cans of mushroom caps
Super Fudge Brownies

- 1 pkg Kraft Caramels
- 1/3 cup Pet Milk of 13 oz can
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- Remainder of pet milk
- 12 oz pkg chocolate chips
Cheese Potato Balls

Heat water, butter, salt and then stir in milk Stir in with 1 3/4 cups of potato buds WOT be stiff
- 2 1/4 c. potato buds, dry (reserve 1/2 c.)
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 T. butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- Velveeta cheese, cut In 1/2" cubes
- 3 T. butter, molted
German Sweet Chocolate Cake

Melt chocolate in water
- 4 oz. Baker's sweet chocolate
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 4 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Beer Batter Fondue

Mix all ingredients; serve with onion chunks, mushrooms, cauliflower
- 1 1/4 c. flour, sifted
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2/3 c. beer
- 2 T. butter, melted
Creamy Russian Dressing

Combine all ingredients and refrigerate
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/4 c. chili sauce
- 2 T. milk
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. grated or minced onion
- 1 tsp. horseradish
- Snip of parsley
Bessie's Fudge

- 2 c. sugar
- 2 T. cocoa
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. nuts
- 2 T. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
