Hot Mushroom Dip
- 4 to 8 bacon strips
- 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, chopped
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 tablespoon four
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 eight ounce cream cheese block, cubed
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tsp. Worchestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. soy sauce
Cook bacon until crisp. In drippings, sauté mushrooms, onion and garlic until tender. Add flour, salt, and pepper; cook for one minute.
Add cream cheese, sour cream, W-sauce, and soy sauce. Cook, stirring until cheese is melted. Stir in bacon. Serve warm with vegetables or crackers.
