  • 1 cup barley
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 5oz. can of water chestnuts, chopped
  • 1 package of onion soup mix

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Saute onions and barley in margarine until light yellow, add broth, onion soup mix, water chestnuts, and mushrooms. Mix well. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. If needed add more chicken broth.
