Ingredients

  • Pair with most red wines, especially ones with earthy undertone
  • 1 lb sliced mushrooms (2 boxes)
  • 1 onion chopped very fine
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Sauté onions and mushrooms in butter 5-6 minutes. Sprinkle with flour and cook another 5-6 minutes. Add sour cream, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Pour into shallow oven proof dish and sprinkle with the cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.

Serve hot with crackers or crostini.
