Ingredients
- Optional:
- 1 lb. Penne pasta
- 1/4 c extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves crushed garlic
- I can (large) diced tomatoes
- 1 c chicken broth
- 3 tbsp. Basil (fresh is best)
- 1/2 stick of butter
- 1/2 red onion - sliced
- 1/4 c grated parmesan
- Mushrooms
- Artichokes
- Black olives
- 1/4 # prosciutto

Preparation
Step 1
In a deep frying pan, saute onion in oil. When they are soft, add garlic and tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes. Add chicken broth, butter and basil and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add optional choices and grated cheese. Pour over cooked pasta, mix and serve.
