Ingredients
- 1 lb. Penne Pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- salt
- Parmesan cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Cook penne pasta in a large pot of well-salted boiling water until al dente. Drain, reserving 1 cup of the cooking water. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat. Add chopped red bell pepper; cook until slightly softened, 3 minutes. Stir in minced garlic; cook 1 minute. Add cream and peas; heat to a boil. Transfer drained pasta to skillet; toss to mix. Add some reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce. Season with salt. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
