Ingredients

  • TOPPING :
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Step 1

In a medium bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, then mix well. Sift together flour, soda and baking powder. Add to creamed mixture, along with sour cream. Set aside.

Mix topping ingredients until crumbly. Spread half the batter in an 8 inch microwave proof cake dish Sprinkle half the topping mix over the batter. Carefully spread the remaining batter on top next, and then sprinkle the remaining topping over it. Cook on medium for 4 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 3 minutes before serving. Serve warm.
