Ingredients

  • 2 LBS Seafood fresh if you can get it.
  • 1/2 lb Bay Shrimp
  • 1/2 lb Oysters
  • 1/2 lb Clams
  • 1/2 lb Crab
  • 1/4 lb Salt Pork or Bacon (diced small)
  • 1 Onion or 2 Lrg Shallots chopped
  • 2 - 3 Cups of Water (to Cover)
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 1 Cup Cream
  • Chopped Chives as much as you like
  • 1 Loaf Crusty French Bread

Preparation

Step 1

In a small skillet, Saute the bacon, add onion/shallots, saute until golden brown.
In a crock pot, combine all except cream.
set on low for 6 - 9 hours.
During the last hour, add cream. this will thicken a little during the hour, if you want it thicker. Make a flour and corn starch paste and thicken to taste.
Serve in a large bowl and top with chopped chives. Serve with Crusty French Bread.
