Gin Genie

2001 Cocktail Challenge winner Wayne Collin's show stopping Gin Genie. The drink's name comes from David Bowie's song - The Jean Genie.

Ingredients

• 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
• 1 ounce sloe gin
• 1 ounce gin
• Crushed ice
• 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
• 8 mint leaves

Preparation

Step 1

In a highball glass, lightly muddle the mint leaves. Add the gin, lemon juice and Simple Syrup and stir well. Add crushed ice and stir again. Top with more crushed ice and the sloe gin.
