Ingredients
- 2 POUNDS BULK SAUSAGE OR GROUND BEEF
- 1 CHOPPED ONION
- 2 15OZ CANS TOMATO SAUCE
- 2 14OZ CANS DICED TOMATOES, UNDRAINED
- 2 4OZ CANS MUSHROOMS, DRAINED
- 1/2 C MINCED FRESH PARSLEY
- 2 t GARLIC SALT
- 1 t DRIED OREGANO
- 1/2 t EACH DRIED BASIL, CHILI POWDER, AND PEPPER
- 2 BAY LEAVES
- HOT COOKED PASTA

Preparation
Step 1
IN LARGE PAN, COOK MEAT AND ONION, DRAIN. ADD TOMATO SAUCE, TOMATOES, MUSHROOMS, PARSLEY AND SEASONINGS. BRING TO BOIL. REDUCE HEAT COVER AND SIMMER 45 MINUTES, STIRRING OCCASIONALLY.
UNCOVER, SIMMER 15 MINUTES LONGER. DISCARD BAY LEAVES.
SERVE OVER HOT PASTA.
TO FREEZE:
FREEZE IN MEAL SIZE PORTIONS.
