  • 3 ounces heavy whipping cream
  • 3/4 ounce simple syrup, divided
  • 5 ounces freshly brewed coffee
  • 1 ⁄2 ounce Jameson or other good-quality Irish whiskey

Preparation

Step 1

Mix the heavy whipping cream with 1/4 ounce of the simple syrup until it is thick like whipping cream. This can be in a shaker, or with a mixer.

Combine whisky, 1/2 ounce simple syrup, and coffee in a mug. Top with a few dollops of whipped cream.
