Ice Cream with Warm Chocolate Sauce

This is a rich chocolate sauce, more substantial than syrup
- • Store-bought ice cream
- • 4 ounces semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- • 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
- • 1/4 cup sugar
- • Pinch salt
- • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Fourteener's Granola Recipe

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 4 cups old fashioned oats
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 2 Tbsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup Craisins (or dried cranberries)
- 1/3 cup chopped dried apricots

- Vegetable oil cooking spray
- 2 small bulbs fennel, trimmed and cut into 3/4-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 8 ounces (2 1/2 cups) orecchiette pasta
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- One 4-ounce spicy Italian sausage link, casing removed
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced or smashed
- 2 tablespoons white wine, such as pinot grigio
- 8 oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes, drained and chopped
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaf Italian parsley
- 1 teaspoon capers, rinsed and drained
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan

- 1/2 c coconut chips
- 1/2 c steel-cut oats
- 1/2 c red quinoa
- 1/2 t salt

- 1/4 t cinnamon
- 4 c water
